Phillips 66 & YOU – Together we can fuel the future As Advisor II, Brand Marketing will be responsible for the direction, development and execution of key marketing and advertising efforts in support of the overall enterprise-wide strategy and focused on our Aviation and Lubricants brands – Phillips 66 Aviation, Phillips 66 Lubricants, and Kendall. The advisor is responsible for implementing brand strategy, optimizing its execution in market, working with agency partners, vendors, and the Brand COE, and developing KPIs/measuring success of brand initiatives. This includes managing our Aviation and Lubricant brand communications to key stakeholders and customers, developing advertising campaigns that perform above developed KPIs, supporting activation of brands at various tradeshows and events, and working with teams to ensure consistent messaging and creative drive to customer demand, brand awareness and profitable business growth.

What You’ll Do

Manage and execute brand plans that build long-term equity while ensuring consistent brand expression across all touchpoints.

Support development of integrated marketing campaigns, communications, and media strategies while analyzing performance and providing insights.

Strengthen brand positioning and contribute ideas to strategic planning with cross‑functional alignment.

Plan and support event activations, tradeshows, and experiential opportunities.

Develop customer communication plans and sales enablement tools while responding to customer inquiries.

Collaborate with agencies, manage promotional activities, support packaging coordination, and contribute to media relations.

What You’ll Bring – Required

Legally authorized to work in the job posting country.

Bachelor’s degree.

1 or more years of experience working independently in a brand, marketing, or related function.

Experience planning and coordinating events or promotional activities.

What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred

5 or more years of experience working with creative agencies and developing media plans.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Communications or Marketing.

Experience in oil and gas, lubricants, aviation, or related industry.

Bilingual in Spanish.

Strong understanding of marketing in the regions where our brands have presence.

Experience working with consumer research groups to determine appropriate research methodologies for addressing business issues.

Experience executing a brand strategy in market with measurable results.

Strong negotiating abilities to get efficient fee structure for sponsorships, agency fees, etc.

Financial aptitude with disciplined budget and cost management.

Excellent attention to detail.

Must be self‑motivated, self‑directed, and able to effectively handle competing priorities through strong planning and organizational skills; demonstrates urgency to achieve objectives with little to no direct guidance and consistently delivers on commitments.

Strategic thinking skills; able to create new opportunities/challenge current ways of thinking.

Teamwork: demonstrated success working in team environments to achieve superior results.

Flexibility: ability to change course quickly, does not get frustrated in a changing environment.

Systems: advanced proficiency with PC applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, able to gather and interpret data from different systems and publish to Power BI.

Compensation Range This position has a base salary range of $112,100–$129,800. At Phillips 66, we are committed to pay transparency and competitive, equitable compensation. Each role is assigned a salary grade with a defined pay range, benchmarked against industry peers.
