Undergraduate Admissions Social Media Intern
The Social Media Intern for Undergraduate Admissions supports our efforts of recruitment through the means of social media production and creation. This internship will provide a student with professional development skills, expose them to the world of admissions, and assist with strategies to better our social media pages. In this role, you will learn how to better communicate with others, work collaboratively in a team of other interns and Admissions staff members, as well as build on technical skills that you already have through the use of content creation.
Job Duties Include:
Content creation using Canva
Posting content on our social media pages, including Instagram
Capturing quality content on your mobile device to be used for content creation
Collaborating with departments and staff across different departments
Think strategically about what a wide variety of students would enjoy while keeping them informed about the admissions process and cycle
Office support when needed
Other duties assigned by direct supervisor
Required Qualifications:
Familiarity with Google Workspace and/or basic computer software tools
Experience working on Canva
Ability to complete tasks on a timely basis and manage your time effectively
Work independently on tasks assigned and adhere to due dates assigned by direct supervisor
Open to learning new things in an office environment, and being a collaborative team member
Communicating effectively with direct supervisor, admissions staff, and other interns
Willingness to participate in some late nights and weekend events organized by Undergraduate Admissions
