Manager - Global Transaction Analytics
A&M’s Global Transaction Analytics (GTA) practice, within our Transaction Advisory Group, seeks a Manager to join a fast‑growing team across multiple U.S. locations. The role involves delivering data‑analytics services that provide actionable insights across the investment lifecycle, supporting private equity and corporate clients through M&A, divestment and investment strategy.
Responsibilities
Lead numerous client engagements.
Effectively manage day‑to‑day client interaction and relationships.
Proactively contribute to business development opportunities.
Manage and prioritise team responsibilities and consult with senior members across multiple deals.
Work cohesively and collaboratively across stakeholders.
Counsel and mentor junior members of the team and develop the team’s technical acumen.
Recruit, train, and develop junior staff members, including teaching training classes as applicable.
Qualifications
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in data analytics or transaction services.
Buy‑side/vendor due diligence experience across industries.
Understanding of M&A / PE investment lifecycle.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems or a related field.
Understanding of data extraction, manipulation, analytics and visualization approaches.
Strong technical background with hands‑on data analytics experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, relational databases/SQL querying, Alteryx, business intelligence/visualisation (Tableau preferred), big data and machine learning concepts.
Ability to leverage business intelligence software.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a thorough yet concise manner.
Exceptional project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibility to work as both a team member in a collaborative setting and as an individual contributor.
Ability to thrive and be effective in fast‑paced settings.
Benefits The base salary is $160,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills and geography.
