Overview This role focuses on driving franchise growth in the Eastern U.S., with an initial emphasis on the New York market. The position requires hands-on management of the full franchise sales cycle — from lead generation and candidate evaluation to deal closing and onboarding. The ideal candidate has prior experience in franchise development, business development, or sales within food & beverage or retail, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute lead generation strategies to attract qualified franchise candidates through digital marketing, industry events, and broker networks

Build and maintain a high-quality prospect pipeline, ensuring consistent follow‑up and conversion

Evaluate candidates’ financial strength, operational capability, and cultural fit with the brand

Organize and lead candidate discovery events (e.g., Discovery Day), coordinating meetings with key executives and stakeholders

Manage the entire franchise sales process from initial inquiry to contract signing, ensuring efficiency and compliance

Ensure all franchise activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including preparation and delivery of FDD

Collaborate with real estate, operations, and legal teams to identify high‑growth markets and support territory planning

Provide market insights and feedback to continuously optimize franchise models, products, and support systems

Required Qualifications

1+ years of experience in franchise development, business development, or sales within food & beverage, retail, or related industries

Basic understanding of franchise disclosure documents (FDD) and compliance requirements (or ability to learn quickly)

Professional working proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with multi‑unit or area development agreements

Familiarity with franchise sales CRM tools and pipeline management

Existing network of franchise candidates or brokers in the New York / Eastern U.S. market

Willingness to travel (up to 40% including some overnight trips)
