Job Description: Pearlmark is actively seeking a
Capital Markets Associate
who will be primarily responsible for capital markets operations, marketing, and investor relations. This team member will provide key support to investor relations and fundraising activities while also working with the asset management, accounting, and investments teams. The individual will work closely with senior leadership across the firm and report to the Managing Director of Capital Markets.
Key Responsibilities: Marketing and Investor Materials
Create content for all investor‑related correspondence and materials for annual partners meetings, advisory committee meetings, and other client review meetings
Create unique and compelling analysis and content for marketing collateral (presentation books, investment summaries, etc.) in connection with raising capital from prospective clients for new funds
Maintain and update all marketing collateral, investor presentation materials, and track records
Investor Diligence and Project Management
Complete and manage investor due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) from prospective clients and consultants; produce deliverables to respond to ongoing investor and consultant information requests
Support the fundraising process by coordinating data rooms and ensuring accuracy and consistency of investor‑facing materials
Collaborate with senior team members on responses to prospective investor inquiries, including strategy, track record, and portfolio positioning
Investor Relations
Serve as Pearlmark’s primary contact with research consultants, providing regular updates and database maintenance
Work with accounting group to understand fund reporting; work with asset management to grow and maintain understanding of existing investments and business plans; work with acquisitions team to develop understanding of investment strategies and portfolio management
Support the management and maintenance of CRM (Juniper Square) database
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, marketing, or a related field within real estate
Experience with DDQs, RFPs, and fundraising materials
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Detail‑oriented, motivated, and comfortable with multitasking
Ability to manage sophisticated, complex, and challenging situations from origination to completion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Series 7, 63 preferred but not required
