Construction Superintendent
to lead field operations on our commercial projects. If you’re a driven construction professional who thrives on‑site, excels at coordinating complex work, and is committed to quality and safety, we’d love to meet you.
Your Role As a Superintendent, you’ll be the
primary on‑site leader , responsible for ensuring projects are delivered
on time, within budget, and to Hood’s high standards . You’ll oversee all daily field activities, manage subcontractors and vendors, and uphold jobsite safety.
Your Work Will Include
Leading and managing field personnel
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections
Monitoring the project schedule and controlling costs
Reviewing and interpreting drawings and specifications
Running site meetings and maintaining clear communication with project teams and clients
Performing quality control checks and documenting daily progress in construction management software
Supporting all phases of construction—from preconstruction planning to final punch list
What You Bring
5–7 years of experience supervising commercial construction projects
A proven track record of leading teams and managing multi‑trade workflows
Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction sequencing
Proficiency with platforms such as Procore, PlanGrid, or similar tools
The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
