Overview
We are currently partnering with one of the world’s premier Global Alternative Asset Managers (over $50 billion in AUM) to identify a high-caliber Capital Markets Associate. This is a pivotal role within a unified Capital Markets team that sits at the heart of the firm’s Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Credit platforms.
As an Associate, you will be a key driver in the syndication and distribution of complex financing products. This is not a back-office support role; you will be an active point of contact for lenders and a strategic facilitator for debt placement across the firm’s global portfolio.
Responsibilities
Strategic Execution:
Facilitate go-to-market initiatives for debt placements across a diverse network, including LPs, GPs, and global financing sources.
Lender Relationship Management:
Partner with senior leadership to identify optimal capital pockets; serve as a primary point of contact for ongoing dialogue with institutional lenders.
Diverse Product Distribution:
Coordinate the end-to-end distribution process for a wide range of credit products, including leveraged loans, high-yield bonds, junior capital, and asset-backed financings (ABS).
Cross-Platform Integration:
Support unified syndication activities across multiple investment strategies (PE, Impact, Credit, Real Estate) to maintain a cohesive and powerful market presence.
Technical Stewardship:
Manage the process for new originated products (public and private) and provide ongoing support for the firm’s existing portfolio companies.
Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is currently a top-tier performer within a Leveraged Finance, Financial Sponsors, or Restructuring group who is looking to move "buy-side" into a strategic Capital Markets function.
Experience:
2 - 5 years of intensive experience at a major Investment Bank, Direct Lender, or Credit Fund.
Technical Mastery:
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and technical mastery of Excel is non-negotiable. You should be comfortable navigating complex capital structures.
Communication:
Exceptional interpersonal skills. You must be able to communicate effectively with sophisticated lenders and internal investment committees.
Execution Mindset:
Strong process management skills with the ability to "own" multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
Culture Fit:
We are seeking a self-motivated team player who balances high-performance "excellence" with professional humility and a proactive, coachable attitude.
Compensation Total Compensation: $175k - $250k (Base Cash + Cash Bonus) Depending Performance
