About the Role As an Assistant Residence Manager at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Clermont, NY, you will assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of the residence program. You will oversee intellectually and developmentally disabled adults, partner with them to facilitate daily care, enhance personal development, foster self‑esteem, and help them meet or exceed individualized goals for success.
Location & Salary Location:
Clermont, IRA, NY.
Salary:
commensurate with education and experience.
With HS Diploma/GED: $21.50 - $23.00 per hour
With BA/BS: $22.50 - $24.07 per hour
With MA/MS or higher: $23.50 - $25.14 per hour

Responsibilities The Assistant Residence Manager will:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and implementing the residence program.
Oversee intellectually and developmentally disabled adults.
Partner with residents to facilitate daily care and personal development.
Promote self‑esteem and work toward individualized goals for success.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED plus at least one year of related experience. A bachelor's degree or associate’s degree with at least one year of related experience is preferred.
Valid NY driver’s license.
Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, with a sense of humor.
Strong passion for working with children and adults with special needs.
Physical Requirements Pre‑employment physical assessment required. Significantly frequent walking, sitting, stooping, bending, and standing. Planned outside activities with exposure to sunlight and heat. Ability to speak and hear reliably at normal volumes. Adequate vision to read documents, computer screen, and forms. Good manual dexterity.
