full-time Member Service Representative . This role supports members with exceptional customer service, promotes financial products and services, and serves as the face of the credit union in branches. Our Member Service Representatives are enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service to our members. This position has a universal role in our branches, working seamlessly to assist our members' needs from start to finish. Our Member Service Representatives promote financial products and services to improve our members' well-being, and always establish rapport with members to recommend the best financial solutions. Being passionate about the value that credit unions offer is critical to this role so that you can enthusiastically promote our financial services to members. Responsibilities
Process teller transactions and present loan disclosures. Open and close accounts; update member information; conduct loan application interviews; process and fund loans. Provide accurate banking transactions on the teller line and maintain a balanced cash drawer. Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services to meet member needs. Collaborate with team to achieve individual and group sales goals and stay current on products and services. Assist members from initial contact to resolution, ensuring a positive member experience. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent One year of current financial institution experience as Teller or Member Service Representative OR two years of current sales, retail, or customer service experience with cash handling Intermediate proficiency with computers and software applications, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Exceptional customer service skills Ability to offer solutions that meet member needs Flexibility to travel to other branches on occasion Working knowledge of Symitar (Episys) is preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are also preferred. Benefits
