Position Overview
CGI Federal is seeking a qualified Technical Field Service Representative to join our team. The position requires a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented professional with excellent communication skills, problem‑solving ability and organizational skills.
This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida onsite and will require 25% domestic/international travel, including OCONUS destinations such as Philippines, South Korea, Norway, Saudi Arabia, etc.
Responsibilities
Mark, pack, inventory, and track equipment using MCPIC software and hardware systems.
Monitor and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices to maintain full system operation and capability.
Assist with software and hardware installation and testing.
Provide customer support and training with logistics software and hardware.
Maintain proficient basic computer skills including email, Microsoft Office, electronic timesheets, network usage and basic database entry.
Resolve issues utilizing excellent customer service, problem‑solving, and technical reasoning skills, and a high level of individual judgment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience.
Success in completing a CGI Federal background investigation, including 50‑state criminal, education, and employment checks. A credit and/or driving record check may also be required depending on the contract.
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance; U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
Possession of a valid state driver’s license.
Capability to obtain a forklift and scissor lift license.
Physical ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds multiple times during an 8‑hour workday.
Organized, flexible, detail‑oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, teamwork environment.
Willingness to work in non‑climate‑controlled, dusty environments.
Perform routine warehouse housekeeping.
Current CompTIA Security+ certification (or the ability to obtain within 6 months).
Desired Qualifications
Active SECRET clearance.
Logistics background and understanding of DoD operations.
Experience with logistics support in a contracting environment.
CompTIA A+ certification.
Compensation Range Estimated range for this role in the U.S.:
$46,900.00 - $65,100.00
