Job Description
The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies
Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
3+ years of experience with the software development lifecycle from conception to delivery
Experience designing, planning, and implementing applications and/or database migrations to the cloud
Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of Secret or above
Preferred Qualifications
Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre‑sales environments
Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands‑on experience with technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization
Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments
AWS experience preferred with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation)
Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python)
Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
Experience with AWS data/file transfer solutions including AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and/or AWS DataSync

USA, VA, Arlington – $131,300.00 to $177,600.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Herndon – $131,300.00 to $177,600.00 USD annually
USA, WA, SEATTLE – $131,300.00 to $177,600.00 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle – $131,300.00 to $177,600.00 USD annually
