Our client is a luxury fashion brand and they are seeking a Part-Time Ecommerce Growth Strategist to join their team.
Experience working with Shopify in an ecommerce environment is required
Role Overview:
The Part-Time Ecommerce Growth Strategist will take ownership of both strategy and execution across the Shopify storefront. This role is highly hands‑on, requiring someone who can identify growth opportunities through data analysis and immediately implement improvements within the site. The position focuses on optimizing the full funnel—from initial site visit to completed purchase—while continuously refining the user experience and merchandising strategy on a weekly basis.
Part-Time Ecommerce Growth Strategist Responsibilities:
Evaluate and optimize the end‑to‑end conversion funnel to improve user progression and reduce drop‑off
Enhance product detail pages through improved layout, messaging, and merchandising techniques
Identify and implement strategies to increase average order value, including bundling and upselling
Execute A/B testing initiatives and iterate based on performance insights
Develop and apply SEO strategies to improve search visibility for product and collection pages
Optimize on‑site content and structure to drive qualified organic traffic
Lead homepage and collection page updates based on performance data and seasonal priorities
Manage ongoing merchandising, including product placement and navigation improvements
Perform regular updates directly within Shopify, including product and collection management
Ensure the site remains visually compelling and aligned with brand direction
Collaborate with designers or developers when more advanced updates are required
Produce weekly performance reports highlighting key metrics, trends, and opportunities
Translate analytics into actionable steps that directly impact revenue growth
Maintain dashboards and tracking within Shopify and GA4
Part-Time Ecommerce Growth Strategist Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience working with Shopify in an ecommerce environment
Strong background in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user experience (UX)
Ability to independently execute changes within Shopify themes and backend
Solid understanding of ecommerce merchandising principles, especially in fashion
Proficiency in Google Analytics (GA4) and performance tracking tools
Knowledge of SEO best practices and on‑site optimization techniques
Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands‑on implementation
Detail‑oriented with a strong focus on continuous improvement and testing
