
Marine Construction Superintendent

The ideal candidate will play a key leadership role in delivering high‑quality marine and waterfront construction projects throughout Southwest Florida. This position is responsible for overseeing daily field operations, coordinating marine crews and equipment, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring projects are constructed safely, on schedule, and to specification. You’ll work closely with project managers, foremen, and field teams and have a direct impact on execution and delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead day‑to‑day field operations on marine and waterfront construction projects
Coordinate crews, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
Oversee marine equipment including barges, cranes, pile driving rigs, and excavators
Track production, schedules, and job progress; proactively resolve field challenges
Ensure work complies with plans, specifications, engineering requirements, and permits
Enforce safety standards and lead daily safety meetings
Supervise foremen, operators, and field crews while promoting accountability and teamwork
Maintain clear communication with project management and senior leadership
Ensure quality control throughout construction activities
Qualifications
5–10+ years of construction experience; marine or heavy civil preferred
Proven experience with seawalls, docks, pile driving, shoreline protection, or waterfront infrastructure
Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
OSHA 30 certification preferred
First Aid / CPR certification preferred
Ability to work in active marine and waterfront environments
