Responsibilities
For a Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer specializing in HydraCAD. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed fire sprinkler designs, ensuring compliance with fire protection codes and regulations, conducting site visits as needed, and coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams. The Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer will also review designs for accuracy, prepare material takeoffs, and work to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in fire suppression system installations.
Qualifications
Expertise in Fire Sprinkler Design, with hands-on experience using HydraCAD and familiarity with NFPA codes
Proficiency in technical drafting software and CAD applications
Strong understanding of construction methodologies and material requirements
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and building plans
Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with a variety of stakeholders
NICET certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
