
Construction Superintendent

Overview
The Superintendent will oversee all on-site construction activities for a fast‑paced car park project in Union, NJ, ensuring safety, quality, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors and internal teams. This role is ideal for a hands‑on superintendent experienced in taking projects out of the ground, site work, and utilities, with strong GC and Procore experience.

Responsibilities
Site Supervision: Oversee construction conversion project including site work and utilities
Team Leadership: Lead subcontractors and trades to maintain schedule, safety, and quality standards
Documentation: Utilize Procore for project documentation, schedules, RFIs, and reporting
Quality Control: Coordinate with project management, ownership, and internal stakeholders
Safety Compliance: Enforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized site
Schedule Management: Ensure work is completed on time and within scope for short‑duration, fast‑track projects
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience as a Superintendent
General contracting experience preferred, or with subcontractor
Demonstrated experience with site work and utilities, including projects taken out of the ground
Proficient in Procore
Dependable, hands‑on leader with strong field presence and communication skills
