Private Credit Associate

We are working with a credit-focused investment firm seeking an Associate to join its investment team in Los Angeles. The role offers exposure to a broad range of private credit opportunities, with a focus on fundamental underwriting and deal execution across middle-market companies. Key Responsibilities

Evaluate new investment opportunities across the capital structure, including senior secured loans, unitranche, and opportunistic credit Perform detailed credit analysis, including financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and downside protection assessment Conduct industry and company-level due diligence, including management calls and third-party diligence coordination Prepare investment memoranda and present findings to the investment committee Support deal execution, including structuring, documentation review, and closing processes Monitor existing portfolio investments, tracking performance and identifying potential risks Qualifications

2–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private credit, leveraged finance, or related fields Strong financial modeling and credit analysis skillset Experience evaluating leveraged businesses and understanding capital structures Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong interest in private credit and fundamental investing
