Overview The Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) is the largest staff and budget unit in the Senate, responsible for technology, printing, graphics, telecommunications, staffing, and more.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage creation of digital media projects including social media ads, interactive PDFs, email designs, animated gifs, and fillable forms.

Create e‑Publications featuring interactive maps, video, hyperlinks, scrolling frames, page buttons, pop‑ups, and other interactivity.

Ensure publishing activities follow digital accessibility best practices and WCAG 2.0 guidelines and perform user accessibility testing for digital media publications.

Develop UI/UX for web and mobile document services and applications.

Create and design print projects.

Handle graphic production and create graphic elements, assets, and visual treatments that adapt and flow with responsive design systems.

Serve as a backup to the section lead in absence.

Other duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED.

Evaluation will be based on the quality and extent of total accomplishments, experience, and education. Qualified candidates may be interviewed and a reference check conducted.
