
Contract Specialist

DC Group Inc., headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, provides mission‑critical support to Fortune 500 companies, government facilities, critical infrastructure, and our Data Centers. We’re seeking a Contract Specialist to join our Contracts Department at our home office in Minneapolis, MN.
This in‑office position requires a detail‑oriented individual with strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
Requirements
Minimum AA/AS Degree.
Self‑starter able to work independently and balance competing priorities within defined deadlines.
1 to 2 years of experience reviewing business service contracts and drafting redlines preferred, including:
Experience using Microsoft Word Track Changes.
Experience coordinating input between various departments (legal, technical, sales or procurement).
Related coursework such as paralegal or contract law courses or certificates.
For candidates without direct experience with contract review, experience in roles requiring high attention to detail and critical thinking is required.
This role requires detail orientation, organization, independence, multi‑tasking, shifting priorities as needed, and a desire to learn and grow in contract terminology and legal analysis. Opportunities to grow within the department exist.
Responsibilities
Ensure all required documentation is received prior to routing contracts for signature.
Route for signatures to execute contract documents.
Track and maintain contract review status.
Work with several departments, examples include but not limited to:
Serve as point of contact to relay contract information to internal sales team members or others as requested.
Clarify client requirements.
Coordinate and assemble information from internal stakeholders and/or management during contract negotiation, as needed.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Review contract documents for alignment with DC Group’s business policies and risk tolerance and assist with gathering additional details or drafting redlines as needed to ensure compliance. Contract document examples include but are not limited to:
Purchase orders, terms and conditions, master service agreements, amendments, statements of work, NDAs etc.
Other tasks or projects as assigned, such as but not limited to obtaining subcontractor compliance documentation.
