The Encompass Group is partnering with a rapidly growing construction services organization to find a driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support pipeline growth and strategic expansion.

About the Role This is a high-impact, entry-level opportunity for someone looking to break into business development within the construction space. You’ll play a critical role in identifying, qualifying, and tracking new project opportunities—directly contributing to revenue growth and sales success.

What You’ll Do

Conduct daily lead generation using platforms like CIS, ConstructConnect, Dodge, and PlanHub

Identify and qualify new construction opportunities based on scope, size, and location

Research and track general contractors, developers, and key stakeholders

Enter and manage opportunities in Salesforce with same-day accuracy

Maintain a clean and organized pipeline tracker with bid dates and project status

Support the sales team with outreach and meeting generation

Monitor market trends and competitor activity in key regions

What Success Looks Like

Maintain accurate, real-time CRM updates

Consistently contribute to pipeline growth and win rates

Meet or exceed KPIs tied to lead volume and conversion

Interest in construction, sales, or business development

Strong communication and research skills

Experience with CRM tools (preferred, not required)
