Middle Market Producer/Account Executive
Located in US – North America. Aon is looking for a Mid-Market Production Account Executive on our Commercial Risk team.

What the day will look like

Provide expertise and identify client needs for a portfolio of middle‑market accounts.

Demonstrate new business production with a proven track record of new logo acquisition and cross‑sell, focusing on Commercial accounts.

Ensure overall account profitability with a value‑based approach to scope of service and cost.

Lead stewardship planning and renewal processes, assembling the appropriate team for client‑specific renewal strategies.

Ensure the client service team understands client needs, service delivery methods, and the economic framework.

Educate clients on trends, market issues, and benchmarking data.

Marshal Aon resources to support clients in unusual circumstances such as large claims.

Involve cross‑functional teams to define interdependent responses for business growth opportunities.

Skills to be successful in the role

7‑10+ years of experience leading client relationships or selling Risk Management Solutions products.

Build and leverage relationships that translate into meaningful business results with mid‑market economic buyers.

Strong client‑facing skills, advising and influencing decision‑makers including the C‑Suite.

Excellent client‑management skills; manage an existing book while generating new business.

Establish critical relationships between Aon colleagues, clients, and the external payor/insurer market.

Articulate and execute a strong value proposition; senior‑executive communication and negotiation skills.

Organizational, interpersonal, and project‑management skills; multi‑task with attention to detail.

Proven technical proficiency to build innovative solutions.

Critical thinking and clear expression of concepts at various levels.

Digital literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Active Property & Casualty license.

Expertise in a specific industry segment, proven client history.

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.

Salary & Incentives
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150,000 - $250,000 annually. Salary depends on education, experience, skills, and market data, and may be adjusted based on geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive production incentives in addition to base salary. The amount of any production incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
