Customer Support Specialist
Responsible for processing, managing, and completing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include: Review and process incoming sales orders from ERP system, email, or online platforms Verify order details including product specifications, quantities, pricing, and shipping requirements Coordinate with production, inventory, and purchasing teams to ensure product availability Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment (or coordinate with warehouse staff if separate) Generate shipping labels, packing lists, and required documentation (FedEx, UPS, freight, etc.) Monitor order status from entry to delivery and proactively resolve delays or issues Communicate with customers regarding order status, shipment tracking, and any discrepancies Handle order changes, returns, exchanges, and backorders Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and inventory movements in the system Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy when needed Ensure compliance with company procedures and shipping regulations Work with accounting or ERP system to ensure orders are properly invoiced Preferred qualifications include: Experience with ERP systems Familiarity with shipping software and carriers (FedEx, UPS, freight) Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic Excel or data entry skills Good communication skills (internal team and customers) Compensation: $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
