We are currently partnering with one of our high-performing Core Partner agencies to add a senior-level Account Executive to their team. While the agency remains confidential at this stage, this opportunity represents a well-established, growth-oriented firm with a strong reputation in the commercial insurance space.

Position Summary
The Account Executive (AE) is a senior-level, service-focused role responsible for managing a portfolio of complex, high-revenue commercial accounts.
This is not a traditional production role. The AE will focus on client retention, strategic advisory, and high-level service delivery. However, there is opportunity to generate new business and earn commission if desired.
This individual will act as a trusted advisor to clients and a key extension of agency leadership, bringing strong technical expertise, executive presence, and the ability to operate with autonomy.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key commercial clients
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships grounded in trust
- Lead client meetings, renewal presentations, and stewardship discussions
- Provide proactive insights on coverage, market trends, and risk management
- Handle complex or sensitive client matters with professionalism and sound judgment
Renewal Management & Strategy
- Own the renewal process end-to-end, including data gathering, marketing, carrier negotiations, and proposal development
- Evaluate coverage structures and identify opportunities for optimization
- Present clear, strategic recommendations and pricing comparisons
- Partner with internal teams and carriers to ensure seamless execution
Account Transition & Integration
- Support smooth transitions of client accounts when needed
- Establish credibility and continuity with clients early in the relationship
- Gain a deep understanding of each account’s history, structure, and service expectations
Technical Expertise
- Maintain strong knowledge across commercial lines, including:
- General liability
- Commercial property
- Workers’ compensation
- Commercial auto
- Umbrella/excess
- Builders risk and inland marine
- Understand key industries such as construction and real estate/habitational
- Stay informed on market trends and carrier appetite
Growth Opportunities (Optional)
- Identify cross-sell and rounding opportunities within the existing portfolio
- Originate new business and earn commission, if desired
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance account management or servicing
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines coverages
- Experience managing complex, middle-market or large accounts
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- High level of accountability, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Active insurance license required (or ability to obtain)
