We are seeking an experienced

Lifecycle Marketing Manager

to build and scale customer engagement programs that drive retention, repeat purchases, and long-term customer value. This role is both strategic and hands-on, owning the design, execution, and optimization of lifecycle marketing initiatives with email as the primary channel.

You will play a critical role in shaping the customer journey—from first interaction through post-purchase engagement—using data, testing, and personalization to deliver timely, relevant communications that strengthen brand loyalty and revenue growth. This position sits at the intersection of

data analysis, creative storytelling, and marketing operations , requiring both analytical rigor and executional excellence.

Key Responsibilities: Lifecycle & Email Marketing Design, build, and deploy high-performing email campaigns across promotional, transactional, and customer communications. Own and optimize automated lifecycle journeys such as onboarding, re-engagement, post-purchase follow-ups, and win-back campaigns. Manage “always-on” email programs with a strong focus on operational excellence, deliverability, and reliability. Establish lifecycle best practices, systems, and processes to support scalable growth. Retention & Monetization Develop targeted strategies to increase repeat purchases and customer lifetime value. Identify opportunities for cross-sell, loyalty, and re-engagement initiatives. Balance growth experimentation with the protection and optimization of existing performance. Support future expansion into additional lifecycle channels (e.g., SMS or other direct communication tools). Optimization & Performance Implement and manage A/B testing frameworks across subject lines, content, CTAs, timing, and personalization. Monitor and report on key performance metrics including engagement, conversion, and revenue impact. Analyze campaign data to uncover trends and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Conduct regular audits of lifecycle programs to identify gaps and optimization opportunities. Technical & Cross-Functional Collaboration Oversee day-to-day management of email and CRM platforms, ensuring data accuracy and system health. Troubleshoot automation, data syncs, and integration issues in partnership with technical teams. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, operations, and development teams to align messaging and execution. Translate complex systems and data flows into clear insights and recommendations. Content & Customer Experience Contribute to lifecycle content strategy, including newsletters and ongoing customer communications. Ensure compliance with opt-out, privacy, and email best practices. Maintain a test-and-learn mindset, leveraging creative tools and resources to move quickly and iterate effectively. Support initiatives that enhance personalization and deliver a high-quality customer experience. What Success Looks Like Lifecycle programs that are stable, scalable, and optimized across the full customer funnel. Clear understanding of performance benchmarks and opportunities for improvement. Measurable increases in repeat purchase rates and customer retention. Strong visibility into customer behavior and lifecycle touchpoints. Expansion of lifecycle marketing capabilities over time. Qualifications Proven experience managing lifecycle and email marketing programs end-to-end. Strong understanding of ESPs, CRMs, audience segmentation, and data integrations. Comfort troubleshooting automation and working closely with technical teams. Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-focused. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing strategy. You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams. You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications Should be experienced with email platforms like

Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot or Sendgrid.

Should be familiar with APIs and integration best practices in order to communicate and work with the tech team on data challenges, enhancements and reporting Experienced with reporting on email metrics, using reporting to drive recommendations and optimizations, owning email as a channel and owning improvement of performance for this channel as a growth strategy 2-3 years experience in email and marketing campaigns.
