
Intermediate Architectural Designer (Cupertino)

Position Summary:
The Intermediate Architectural Designer plays a pivotal role within our design team, contributing to the creative and technical development of architectural projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in architectural principles and practices, along with the ability to translate client visions into innovative designs that meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements. This position requires collaborative engagement with senior designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment with established goals and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Drafters and Design Principals to produce comprehensive plans for submission to the City for Planning and Building Permit. Develop and refine design concepts, preparing architectural drawings, models, and presentations that effectively communicate design intent. Facilitate coordination among various consultants to develop precise contract drawings, documents, and specifications necessary for obtaining building permits. Work closely with senior staff and the technical project team to enhance project progress and coordinate task scheduling.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in architecture or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred. Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents and effective communication through writing and presentations. Intermediate mathematical skills, including calculations, proportions, percentages, and basic algebra and geometry concepts. Proficiency in computer-aided design software, such as Revit and AutoCAD. Familiarity with software such as Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Professional. Experience working on Schematic, Design Development, and CD documentation.
