Our client, a fast-growing manufacturing company, is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner who is Operations and business driven with a People-first attitude .
This isn’t a traditional HR role. As an HR Business Partner, you’ll be embedded in the business. It is a high visibility role. You’ll partner with leaders to drive performance, strengthen teams, and build a culture people actually want to be part of. This position reports to the VP of HR. Job Description: Business & Operations Partnership Partner with leadership to align people strategy with business goals (capacity, productivity, growth) —understand challenges and opportunities firsthand Lead performance management, coaching, and development planning Identify talent gaps and support succession planning Use data (turnover, headcount, productivity) to drive decisions and engagement, retention, and a culture of accountability and respect
Talent & Culture Build strong talent pipelines using creative, community-driven recruiting
Payroll & Compliance Support payroll processes alongside the Payroll Specialist Ensure compliance with CA, CO, and multi-state employment laws
Requirements: 5+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or operations-heavy environments Strong knowledge of payroll, compliance, and employee relations Ability to influence leaders and operate as a true business partner Equally comfortable with strategy and hands-on execution High ownership, urgency, and follow-through
