The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as the primary strategic HR advisor for assigned business units or regions, partnering closely with operational leaders to align people strategies with business objectives. This role is responsible for delivering high-impact HR support in the areas of workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, performance management, and data-driven decision-making. The HRBP will collaborate with cross-functional HR teams including Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, and Talent Development to ensure consistent, proactive support across the employee lifecycle.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the main HR point of contact for assigned business units, supporting leaders and employees with strategic and tactical HR guidance.
Leverage HR analytics to provide actionable insights to business leaders on workforce trends, headcount, turnover, and engagement to inform decision-making.
Support workforce planning, talent forecasting, and succession planning initiatives in partnership with operational and talent management leaders.
Guide leaders through performance management processes including goal setting, coaching, development planning, and performance calibration.
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support onboarding, employee experience, and position management, ensuring seamless handoffs, organizational alignment, and integrity of the company’s structure to support hiring and internal mobility decisions.
Provide counsel and support in employee relations matters, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution to foster a fair and productive work environment.
Lead internal investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, or misconduct, ensuring thorough, timely, and impartial resolution.
Monitor compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies; proactively recommend policy improvements based on business needs.
Lead or contribute to HR projects and organizational change initiatives that drive cultural alignment, engagement, and operational efficiency.
Serve as a steward of organizational culture and values, modeling integrity, stewardship, safety, and service excellence.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the oilfield services, chemicals, or manufacturing sectors.
Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
Experience using HR analytics tools to generate insights and support strategic conversations.
Strong knowledge of core HR disciplines including employee relations, compliance, performance management, compensation practices, and organizational development.
Highly effective communication, facilitation, and problem‑solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms; UKG Ready experience preferred.
Ability to travel 30–40% to support field‑based teams and operational sites.
Must be able to work on‑site at least three days per week as part of a hybrid work arrangement.
