The Commercial Operations Specialist supports World Fuel's North America Land Retail business by managing customer contracts and onboarding activities in alignment with company policies and commercial objectives. This role partners closely with Sales, Customer Management, and Operations to support contract renewals, new retail site setups, and customer transitionswhile reducing administrative workload for sales teams. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers during onboarding, helping coordinate required documentation, approvals, and system setup to ensure a smooth and accurate handoff to operations. Key Responsibilities
Manage and drive contract renewals and new retail site onboarding for NA Land Retail customers. Ensure negotiated terms, amendments, and clarifications are accurately reflected in final contracts. Maintain and audit a centralized contract repository to ensure compliance and process controls. Support contract activities related to renewals, new sites, and customer transitions ("flips"). Serve as the single point of coordination for customer site transitions, including: Closing outgoing customer accounts Onboarding incoming customers Coordinating invoicing, credit card setup, and required documentation Supporting system and account setup activities. Act as a liaison between Sales and internal teams to support: Customer pipeline visibility Pending supplier offers and contract signatures Resolution of onboarding or approval roadblocks Manage onboarding workflows and queues, providing regular status updates and reporting. Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of submitted requests. Support DocuSign workflows, contract validation, welcome packets, and test invoices prior to account activation. Experience & Qualifications
35 years of experience in customer support, onboarding, contracts, or sales operations preferred Working knowledge of the U.S. land retail fuel marketplace preferred Education
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Skills
