Personal Lines Account Manager The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for managing and servicing a book of personal insurance clients. This role includes maintaining strong client relationships, handling renewals, processing endorsements, and ensuring all client needs are met accurately and efficiently. The Account Manager acts as a key point of contact between clients, carriers, and the agency.
This is an in-office position and can be based out of any of our Alliance Insurance locations: Winston Salem, Clemmons, Mount Airy, Walnut Cove, or Pilot Mountain. The Personal Lines Account Manager will work closely with a team of licensed professionals and collaborate with a wide range of carriers in the independent agency system.
Work Environment:
Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
In-office position with potential for occasional travel to other nearby office locations

Primary Duties:
Manage and service a designated book of personal lines insurance accounts.
Handle all policy transactions including new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and claims support.
Provide professional and prompt customer service via phone, email, or in-person.
Market and remarket accounts as necessary to ensure proper coverage and competitive pricing.
Review insurance policies to ensure accuracy and adequacy of coverage.
Cross-sell additional lines of coverage when appropriate.
Stay current on carrier underwriting guidelines, products, and industry trends.
Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management systems
Deep knowledge of various insurance products and policies
High level of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
Customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering personalized service
Proactive, solution-oriented, and self-motivated
Strong emotional intelligence and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ensure compliance with agency procedures and insurance regulations.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Active North Carolina Property & Casualty license required
3+ years of experience in a Personal Lines Insurance Account Management or CSR role
Designations such as CISR, CIC, or CRM are a plus
