
Southern U.S. Account Manager

Overview
Located in Westminster, SC, Ulbrich Specialty Wire Products (UWSP), a division of Ulbrich, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to cover the Southern U.S. territory. The commercial role will include our Medical, Specialty Cable, Precision and Fine Wire product lines. Based out of a home office, this position will contribute to the sales of Ulbrich Specialty Wire Products by expanding the customer base with strategic sales strategies. The Account Manager will establish new client business, develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers, and work closely with our inside sales, management, and technical staff. We are seeking a motivated outside sales professional with a proven track record who can make a significant contribution selling our products.
Responsibilities
Expand the customer base in the Southern U.S. for Ulbrich Specialty Wire Products (Medical, Specialty Cable, Precision and Fine Wire product lines).
Identify customer needs for new products and establish new client business.
Develop, build, and maintain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers; collaborate with inside sales, management, and technical staff.
Serve as an outside sales professional contributing to sales growth with a strategic approach.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful product delivery.
Work from a home office with up to 40% travel, including some international travel.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering.
Minimum five years of technical sales experience, preferably in the metals industry.
Proven ability to meet established sales goals and deadlines; experience selling technical products and delivering exemplary customer service.
Strong skills in developing and meeting sales forecasts; excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Energetic, focused, proactive self-starter who can make independent decisions with a strong sense of urgency.
Proficiency in MS Office and marketing databases; strong customer service skills and solid technical aptitude.
Ability to travel up to 40%, including some international travel.
