AvalonBay Communities is searching for a dedicated and highly organized Leasing Consultant to take on the daily operations of the leasing team at one of our apartment communities and ensure our residents experience nothing short of luxury living. Join us in redefining what it means to live in style and comfort – the future of apartment management starts here! Responsibilities
Be the driving force in helping residents find the best place to call home through personalized tours tailored to individual tastes. Provide outstanding customer service, build relationships, and create a sense of community for new residents. Follow through on leads with tailored updates—from preferred floorplans to neighborhood highlights—to illustrate what it’s like to call the community home. Engage in sales and marketing activities to drive leasing performance, including crafting campaigns, outreach, and leveraging social media to generate enthusiasm for AvalonBay. Support weekends and peak traffic times, with Saturday availability as part of the schedule. Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required 1–2 years of experience in leasing or a customer service role, preferably in real estate or property management Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Equal Opportunity Employer
