Responsibilities
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orient and train on the job.
Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, written, and telephone skills for taking and processing orders.
Motor coordination for rapid, precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Qualifications Must be 16 years of age or older.
Work Conditions & Physical Requirements The work environment ranges from 36 °F to 90 °F+ with exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500 °F. Tasks include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb cases, pushing/pulling trays, and frequent reaching above and below shoulder height. Employees may need to navigate stairs, bend, stoop, and use hand‑tools such as a pizza peel, cutter, and rolling cutter.
