Position Summary
As a CSR you will mainly prepare pizzas for delivery, take orders over the phone and in person, and maintain the facility.
Job Duties
Operate all equipment
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler
Prepare product
Receive and process telephone orders
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
Training Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; to communicate verbally with customers and coworkers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions & Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately quickly (calculator allowed); make correct monetary change; verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders; motor coordination to rapidly and accurately perform precise movements; ability to enter orders using a keyboard or touch screen.
Work Conditions Adverse weather when removing trash and performing outside tasks; temperature ranges from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some areas; sudden temperature changes; food odors; cornmeal dust; cramped quarters such as walk‑in cooler; hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F+; sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing Talking and hearing on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
Physical Demands Standing: Most tasks performed while standing; walking surfaces with ceramic tile and linoleum; work surfaces 36‑48”.
Walking: Short distances for short durations.
Sitting: Paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
Lifting: Bulk product deliveries handled with a hand truck; cases up to 50 lbs; dimensions up to 3×1.5’.
Carrying: Large cans (≈3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (≈30 lb), dough trays (≈12 lb each) carried from workstation to storage or front of store.
Pushing: Trays on dollies pushed and pulled; stack 24‑30” requires up to 7.5 lb force.
Climbing: Infrequent stairs or ladder to change signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
Stoop/Bend: Forward bending at pizza assembly and front counter for 30‑45 seconds at a time; repeated during day.
Crouch/Squat: Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Additional Job Details Reaching: Continuous up, down, front; overhead >72” when turning controls, changing signs, lifting/lowering objects; reaching down for cornmeal scoop or washing; reaching forward for toppings, cleaning, answering phones.
Hand Tasks: Continuous eye‑hand coordination; frequent use of forearms, wrists; manipulation of pizza peel, rolling cutter; pinching in pizza box assembly; grasping cans, phone, cutter, peel, boxes.
Machines & Tools: Pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, peel.
Driver / Store Management Duties Deliver product by car to customer doorstep; deliver flyers and door hangers; requires valid driver’s license with safe record; access to insured vehicle provided for delivery.
Delivery Essential Skills Navigation: Read map, locate addresses within delivery area; navigate adverse terrain, multi‑story buildings, private homes.
Delivery Physical Demands Carrying: Pizzas, sides, and beverages while walking or climbing stairs.
Driving: Deliver pizzas within designated area; multiple deliveries per shift.
Walking: Between store, vehicle, and customer location.
Climbing: May need to navigate five or more flights of stairs.
Work Conditions: Adverse weather when delivering product, driving, couponing.
Sensing: Far vision and night vision for driving.
