Graphic & Workflow Designer – Getzville, NY, USA (14068). Temporary, full‑time, $27–$32 per hour, 13‑month duration. Onsite schedule: Monday‑Friday or Tuesday‑Saturday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Requires bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
Job Description Position combines graphic design and workflow support for the Presentation Technology group, serving internal banking clients within the Institutional Clients Group. The role operates in a fast‑paced 24/7 department producing live deals, pitch books, and custom design materials for high‑profile investment banking transactions.
Responsibilities
Produce marketing materials (pitch books, deal books, covers, templates, infographics, etc.) using MS Office and Adobe applications to an advanced level.
Assist with creative PowerPoint pitch books, providing conceptual and visual solutions, including motion graphics.
Trace and produce logos, maps, and illustrations.
Ensure all materials are correctly branded per client standards and advise clients on brand use.
Liaise with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines, job instructions, and design requirements.
Complete related admin for accurate work billing and job tracking.
Assist with intake coordination when required.
Perform quality control of own work and assist colleagues with QC tasks.
Buddies new starters after training.
Contribute to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs.
Required Qualifications / Skills / Experience
3–5 years of administrative/operational support in a corporate, service‑oriented environment, ideally a financial institution.
Advanced knowledge of industry‑standard graphic design applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Pro).
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Illustrator, Adobe, and Photoshop.
Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy.
Strong interpersonal, customer‑service, and communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to work independently with little supervision and as part of a team.
Capability to work in a fast‑paced environment, multitask, and cope with pressure.
Ability to assess work and make technical decisions, prioritizing efficiently.
Readiness to follow processes, policies, and procedures.
Flexibility, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn new skills and share knowledge.
Creativity and strong understanding of fundamental graphic‑design principles and layout.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Experience with MapInfo, Adobe Animate, Adobe Audition, and Blender.
Knowledge of external print processes.
Experience in marketing and social media is less desirable; focus on graphic design.
Portfolio Requirement Must provide recent samples of graphic design work in a portfolio.
