We're seeking a Content Creator based at our New York store to lead the storytelling and creative expression behind Mode Mischief Studios' social and digital channels. This role is built for someone who blends creative instinct with strategic insight - someone who understands how to translate brand identity into meaningful, high-performing content that builds connection and drives growth, while also showing up as a reliable, hands‑on member of the in‑store team. Role Overview

You’ll take primary ownership of Mode Mischief Studios' organic content strategy, bringing our brand voice to life across social platforms and cultivating a global community that feels connected and inspired. From concept to execution, you’ll craft engaging, visually‑led content, stay ahead of trends, and collaborate closely with the marketing team to align social storytelling with key campaigns and brand moments. Alongside this, you’ll play an active role in the day‑to‑day running of the New York store – opening and closing with confidence and ensuring the floor is set to brand standard at all times. Key Responsibilities

Plan, create, and schedule quality, relevant content across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn that aligns with brand vision, voice and identity. Maintain a day‑to‑day content calendar aligned with the marketing strategy, including brand campaigns, product launches, and other brand moments. Create content in line with the overarching marketing strategy and follow briefs to produce considered and strategic output. Write captions and copy for all creative assets—reels, stories, grid posts, carousels, and TikToks. Strategically plan, create and direct content during brand moments such as events, pop‑ups, Pinterest moments and photoshoots. Produce reactive content based on trends or major brand moments to maintain cultural relevance. Regularly update media channels, including email marketing campaigns, UGC programs, and paid/organic assets. Oversee, manage and repost UGC in close collaboration with creators and customers. Community & Engagement

Actively engage with the Mode Mischief community through comments, DMs, tagged content, and interactive stories. Identify and nurture authentic creator and customer relationships to strengthen community loyalty. Lead day‑to‑day management of UGC sourcing, approval, and repurposing. Support influencer collaborations—from outreach and briefing to content approvals and performance tracking. Monitor and respond to social sentiment, ensuring the brand maintains a personable, authentic voice. Stay up to date with industry trends. In-Store Operations

Open and close the New York store, including unlocking and securing the premises and managing the alarm system. Set up the sales floor each morning to brand standard and complete end‑of‑day pack‑down. Contribute to a well‑presented, well‑run store environment that reflects the Mode Mischief brand experience and emerging content formats. Experiment with new creative ideas, platform features, and storytelling techniques. Support retail and pop‑up activations with content capture and event coverage. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (design, product, customer service) to ensure content reflects launches, restocks, and customer feedback. Assist in developing social campaigns that amplify brand values, partnerships, and collaborations. Maintain an organized content library of campaign and UGC assets.
