Part-Time Director of Worship Arts

This professional, part-time position will provide worship arts expertise and team leadership for the church’s worship arts ministry. The environment is one of fun, creativity, and teamwork with a passion for excellence in serving and worshiping God. The position reports to the Pastor and directly supervises three part time employees: A/V Technician, Choir Director, and Accompanist. This position supports Wellspring and the community by selecting, coordinating, and leading worship arts offerings that enhance worship services thematically, emotionally, and spiritually. The Director of Worship Arts is the catalyst for faith-centered worship and special programs, including contemporary bands, instrumentalists, drama, dance, puppets, and bells that reflect Wellspring’s vision, mission, and values. With your positive support, encouragement, and leadership, we hope to increase participation in worship arts programs and maintain administrative oversight of the worship arts program through schedules, contact lists, and an annual plan. Competencies/Qualifications

College degree or equivalent relevant experience Two years’ experience in directing, coordinating, and coaching worship arts Ability to lead a spiritually based ministry Strong organizational and interpersonal skills needed to coordinate multiple groups with church vision Strong working understanding of Microsoft Office products Clean background check Must live within commuting distance of Williamsburg, VA, as this job is in-person Desired Qualifications

Ability to work with musicians Understanding of streaming services available Experience using Canva and Pro Presenter for live events Experience running sound, cameras, and computers for live-streaming
