Job Description We’re looking for a creative Industrial Designer (3–5 years’ experience) to join our Industrial Design team. You’ll design delightful, manufacturable hardware across desktop cutting machines, heat-presses and new product categories. You’ll work closely with Design Leadership, Product Management, Engineering and suppliers to shape product vision, deliver thoughtful aesthetics, and help bring concepts to market.

Qualifications What you’ll do

Provide vision, creative solutions and beautiful aesthetics across categories including desktop cutting machines, heat-presses and new product areas.

Absorb user needs, technical constraints, mechanical engineering and business objectives into clear design solutions.

Translate concepts into sketches, 3D CAD models, CMF (color, material, finish) direction, prototypes and presentation-ready assets.

Demonstrate strong craftsmanship in sketching, form development and rapid prototyping/model making.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Sourcing, Operations, Software, Engineering and external suppliers/contract manufacturers to move concepts to production.

Maintain and align to a consistent visual design language across a family of products.

Track design trends and identify opportunities to push our product language and widen category thinking.

Present and defend design ideas, iterate from feedback, and participate in design reviews.

3–5 years of relevant Industrial Design experience in a design consultancy/agency or in-house product team, ideally with experience bringing products to market.

Strong portfolio showcasing thoughtful product design, creative problem solving, end-user empathy, sketching, CMF, and form development.

Mastery of industry design tools including 3D CAD (SolidWorks and/or Rhino), Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and KeyShot.

Hands-on prototyping and model making experience.

Ability to integrate technical/engineering constraints and business requirements into elegant, manufacturable designs.

Excellent visual presentation and communication skills; comfortable pitching designs and responding to critique.

Nice-to-haves

Experience in synthesizing user research into actionable product opportunities

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supplier/CM collaboration.

Experience leveraging AI design tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT) to accelerate ideation/documentation.

Figma UX flow experience

Other Requirements

Occasional late-night supplier/CM calls may be required.

International travel (Malaysia/China) possible at least once per year.
