Job Summary
Responsible for assessment, development, and implementation of an intervention plan for persons with chemical dependency. Coordinates referrals within the facility, to community resources, release planning, and provides consultation to treatment team.
Minimum Qualifications
Degree:
Bachelor of Arts in Human Services/Social Work/Criminal Justice (Preferred)
Degree:
Associate of Arts in Human Services/Social Work/Criminal Justice
License & Certification:
Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC‑I) (must test within 1 year)
Work Experience:
Two (2) years counseling incarcerated persons (Preferred)
Work Experience:
Two (2) years LCDC or LCDC‑I; Knowledge of 12 Step Programs (Preferred)
Language Skills:
Bilingual; Spanish/English desirable (Preferred)
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
Communication Skills:
Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking)
Communication Skills:
Writing/Correspondence
