SEO/SEM Digital Marketing Specialist

The SEO/SEM Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies that increase online visibility, website traffic, and qualified leads for a multi-location skilled nursing and long-term care organization across Arkansas.

This role will focus on search engine optimization (SEO), paid search (SEM), and local search strategies to ensure each facility ranks prominently in search results for relevant healthcare services, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands‑on digital marketing expertise and experience managing multi‑location SEO strategies.

Key Responsibilities: Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings for multiple facility websites.

Conduct keyword research related to skilled nursing, rehabilitation, memory care, and long‑term care services.

Optimize website content, metadata, page structure, and internal linking.

Implement and maintain local SEO strategies for each facility location.

Manage and optimize Google Business Profiles for all facilities.

Monitor SEO performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Coordinate SEO‑optimized content with marketing and communications teams.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM / Paid Search)

Plan, implement, and manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads).

Optimize campaigns to generate qualified inquiries and admissions leads.

Conduct A/B testing for ad copy, landing pages, and targeting strategies.

Monitor cost‑per‑lead and return on ad spend.

Local Search & Reputation Management

Improve visibility for each facility in local search results and map listings.

Monitor and respond to online reviews across platforms.

Implement strategies to increase positive reviews and strengthen online reputation.

Website Optimization

Work with internal teams to ensure websites are technically optimized for search engines.

Monitor site performance, mobile usability, and page speed.

Improve user experience to increase conversions and inquiries.

Analytics & Reporting

Track and analyze website traffic, keyword rankings, and campaign performance.

Provide regular reporting on SEO/SEM performance and lead generation.

Use tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, and other SEO platforms.

Work with admissions, marketing, and leadership teams to align digital strategy with organizational goals.

Coordinate digital marketing efforts across multiple facilities.

Qualifications: Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.

Experience

3+ years experience in SEO, SEM, or digital marketing.

Experience managing multi‑location SEO strategies preferred.

Healthcare or senior care marketing experience is a plus.

Skills

Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and search algorithms.

Experience managing Google Ads and paid search campaigns.

Proficiency with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).

Experience with Google Analytics and Search Console.

Understanding of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization.

Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Excellent written and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Healthcare marketing experience (skilled nursing, hospitals, senior living, or rehabilitation).

Experience optimizing websites for lead generation.

Familiarity with HIPAA‑compliant marketing practices.
