About Bustem
Bustem helps high-growth e-commerce brands find and shut down copycats, counterfeiters, scammers, and unauthorized sellers stealing their revenue. We scan marketplaces, websites, ads, and domains to detect brand abuse, then help brands enforce against it. We grow through content, inbound, and relationships. Now we’re doubling down on enforcement and execution.
Role About the Role:
This is an execution-heavy role, not a “monitoring” role.
You’ll own:
threat identification
enforcement (takedowns)
resolution of active brand abuse
If you’re the kind of person who can spot issues quickly, act fast, and follow through until it’s resolved, then you’ll do well here.
Main Job Responsibilities
Identification
— Find and flag scam websites and ads
Enforcement
— Take action across social platforms, domains and hosting providers
Execute takedowns and track
— success rate, time to action, resolution outcomes
Case Ownership
— Own issues end-to-end
Client Communication
— clear updates, actions taken, results achieved
Process & Improvement
— Identify repeat offenders and platform trends; Help improve SOPs, workflows, and overall enforcement performance
Turn messy enforcement work into simple, outcome-driven communication.
Ideal Candidate Someone who:
is extremely detail-oriented but moves fast
can handle repetitive work without losing accuracy
takes ownership and follows through
stays calm under pressure
is proactive and doesn’t wait for direction
You should be comfortable working through high volumes of tasks while maintaining quality.
Required Experience
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in trust & safety, brand protection, or similar
Strong attention to detail and ability to execute consistently
Comfortable using multiple tools and platforms
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases at once
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with marketplaces (Amazon, Shopify, etc.)
Exposure to IP enforcement, fraud, or online abuse
Background in e-commerce or digital operations
Experience in a fast-paced startup environment
