We are looking for a Member Service Representative to join our team in the La Junta, Colorado location. Southeast Colorado Power Association (SECPA) is a member‑owned rural electric cooperative that provides electric service to over 10,500 AMI meters at 55MW peak. The 13,000 square mile service territory covers all or parts of 11 southeast Colorado counties with 5700 energized line miles (14.4kV, 24.9kV, 69kV). SECPA is headquartered in La Junta, Colorado with three satellite locations in Eads, Lamar, and Springfield. We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
Position Responsibilities The Member Service Representative (MSR) provides professional, accurate, and courteous service to members and visitors of the Association through telephone, in‑person, and written communication. This position supports member service operations by processing service requests, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with billing and payment transactions in accordance with Association policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Minimum Qualifications Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Aptitude to gain an in‑depth knowledge of the customer service, accounting, and customer billing functions related to the electric utility business model. Possess excellent oral and written communications skills and the ability to deal with members. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail is a must. Applicant must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
