
Corporate Tax Manager

Echo is looking to fill a corporate tax role on our accounting team. We are seeking a proactive, self‑motivated, and collaborative Corporate Tax Manager for our corporate tax function reporting to the Controller.
Responsibilities
Lead quarterly ASC 740 tax provision, including current/deferred tax analysis, valuation allowances, ETR reconciliation, and financial disclosures
Manage federal, state, local, and international tax compliance for all entities
Research tax regulations and assess implications of business transactions and new legislation
Maintain tax policies and ensure compliance with US GAAP and SOX controls
Oversee state and local registrations across the corporate structure
Partner cross‑functionally and with external advisors on tax matters, including Section 174 R&D credit analysis
Act as primary liaison with external tax advisors and manage tax audits
Prepare tax memos and support documentation for audits and complex tax positions
Support ad hoc accounting and compliance projects as needed
Qualifications
6+ years of public or corporate tax experience
CPA required; public accounting or public company experience preferred
Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and multi‑jurisdictional tax compliance
Experience in a SOX‑controlled environment
Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
Self‑motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and explain tax concepts to non‑tax stakeholders

$135,000.00 per year. This role is eligible for a bonus that is based on a combination of personal and business performance.

This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office with an open seating floor plan. The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.
