Move-In Coordinator / Marketing Assistant Quail Park at Shannon Ranch – Visalia, CA

Pay:

$21.00/hour (increasing to $23.00/hour in first 3 months)

Schedule:

Sunday–Wednesday

About the Role Quail Park at Shannon Ranch is seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Move-In Coordinator / Marketing Assistant to play a key role in welcoming new residents and supporting occupancy goals. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and is passionate about working with seniors.

You will be instrumental in creating a smooth, positive transition for incoming residents and their families while supporting the Community Relations and Marketing team with administrative and outreach efforts.

Key Responsibilities Move-In Coordination & Resident Experience

Coordinate all aspects of resident move-ins, transfers, and transitions

Serve as a primary point of contact for depositors and families throughout the move-in process

Communicate resident needs to internal teams to ensure a seamless transition

Coordinate apartment readiness including cleaning, refurbishing, and inspections

Ensure all resident information and documentation is completed and entered accurately

Marketing & Administrative Support

Assist the Community Relations Director with tours, phone inquiries, and follow-ups

Support marketing events, outreach efforts, and community partnerships (churches, senior centers, etc.)

Help plan and execute events for prospective residents and families

Provide clerical and administrative support to the marketing team

Operations & Team Collaboration

Maintain strong communication with internal departments and external partners

Support occupancy goals through effective coordination and organization

Uphold resident confidentiality and deliver exceptional customer service

Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Promote a safe, positive, and professional work environment

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in senior living, hospitality, or related field preferred

Passion for working with seniors and providing excellent customer service

Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

Requirements and Certifications (or ability to obtain)

CPR/First Aid

Food Handler’s Permit

Must pass pre‑employment screening (background check, drug test, TB test)

Reliable attendance and professionalism are essential

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
