Overview
Commercial Distribution Representative. MUST RESIDE IN Maryland and Delaware (Remote). Seeking an experienced commercial insurance professional to strengthen broker and agency relationships throughout Maryland and Delaware. This role focuses on expanding commercial lines distribution, driving new business, and supporting strategic growth across the region. What You Will Do
Build and deepen relationships with commercial property and casualty brokers and agencies across the territory Identify and onboard new distribution partners based on market opportunity Drive commercial new business through targeted outreach cross sell and upsell activity Collaborate with underwriting on competitive proposals and coverage strategies Lead pre renewal discussions and key account engagements Maintain detailed broker profiles and support onboarding or termination processes Participate in regional business development events and professional networking activities What You Bring
Successful background in commercial lines marketing sales production underwriting or broker relationship management Established network within the Maryland and Delaware commercial insurance marketplace Strong understanding of commercial insurance products underwriting practices and market dynamics Excellent communication negotiation and analytical abilities Ability to manage multiple agency relationships and deliver results in a dynamic environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance experience Active producer license or willingness to obtain one within a defined timeline
