Supervisor - Enterprise Asset Management

Energy Transfer is a premier provider of midstream energy services seeking an EAM Supervisor to maintain and enhance our Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) SAP Plant Maintenance (PM). The role leads, coaches, and supports a team that assists operations and business personnel across corporate offices, compressor stations, pipelines, storage facilities, processing plants, terminals, and fleet assets. The EAM Supervisor manages compliance, preventive, and unplanned maintenance, collaborates with business and operations teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and data integrity, and delivers timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders. The position also drives projects, delivers solutions, and builds skillsets for the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Supervising and managing teams for projects and configuring/enhancing maintenance workflows and systematic changes.

Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) modules within S/4HANA (FIORI).

Gather and translate business requirements into system designs and technical specifications.

Supervise, develop, and coach teams to achieve top-quality deliverables.

Primary contact and liaison between maintenance and operations planning, ensuring professional maintenance service in a timely manner to maintain high equipment availability and performance.

Driving maintenance workflows, creating work orders, managing inventory, and tracking total cost of ownership.

Assist operations with building and maintaining company functional locations, systems, sub-systems and equipment structure in SAP PM.

Create and update maintenance plans in SAP PM, reviewing all planned work requests from assigned area and determining validity and accuracy of information and engaging the appropriate resources to set a preliminary priority.

Assist operations by assigning scheduled maintenances within SAP PM, reviewing work request for accuracy and clarity: clear scope of work, realistic completion dates, proper lead times, correct equipment identification, proper charge number (if applicable), proper authorization, and discuss details with the originator of the work order.

Manage the status of work and backlog for work order submission to completion: waiting for planning, waiting parts, ready to schedule, scheduled, etc.

Develop a preliminary workforce schedule by technician ensuring all skills (Operator Qualifications) requirements and resource availability are met.

Actively participate in scheduling meetings with operation partners to finalize priority of work orders, minimize downtime windows, and necessary lead times.

Escalate issues to the Technical Supervisor/Operations Manager for high priority and/or compliance related work.

Follow up and communicate schedules to all resources: maintenance, production, outside services, stores, and engineering.

Creation and submission of DOT, PM, and Corrective Work Order Backlog Reports to all management weekly.

Travel to assigned areas as needed to assist operations with SAP PM.

Conceive, design and deliver highly specialized technical training on SAP PM.

Troubleshoot technical SAP PM issues as they arise.

Assist with internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

Assist with submission of request for Master Data in SAP PM.

Provide support, testing and validation for upgrades to SAP PM.

Encourage continuous learning and development while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience with SAP PM and/or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Understanding of SAP Standards & Best Practices and comfortable working with various functional SAP experts and business teams.

Strong leadership skills, effectively managing and guiding team members to achieve project goals.

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Ability to convey decisions and requirements succinctly and appropriately.

Can work under pressure with changing priorities and minimal supervision.

Effective communication at all levels with external and internal parties.

Analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Can meet requirements of state and federal regulations governing vehicle operations.

Ability to travel up to 25% of total work days for data gathering, audits, meetings and training.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project or Workstream Lead.

Experience with customer service with end-to-end implementations is strongly desirable.

Experience with regulatory compliance or other schedule-driven maintenance activities related to equipment and work order management.

Ability to effectively engage with operations and understanding of mechanical/technical a plus.

Knowledge of general CMMS system structure, functionality, navigation and reporting capability.

Knowledge of PSM, pipeline and/or plant system operations and maintenance-based activities.

Knowledge and utilization of Microsoft Excel and Excel functions.

Working Conditions

Usually normal office working conditions.

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.

Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Occasional visits to industrial or manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, extreme temperatures, loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
