Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate RFQs, RFPs, and SOQs from kickoff through final submission, managing schedules, deliverables, and deadlines.
Analyze solicitations, develop compliance matrices, and ensure full adherence to requirements, formatting, and submission instructions.
Track solicitation updates, addenda, and Q&A, communicating changes to proposal teams and adjusting content and compliance accordingly.
Coordinate with project managers, technical staff, subconsultants, BD leadership, and executives to gather, organize, and refine proposal content.
Write, edit, and quality-check proposal sections, resumes, and project descriptions for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
Interview project teams to develop concise, AEC focused project profiles that clearly communicate scope, challenges, solutions, and outcomes.
Partner with business development leadership to help shape win strategies, key messages, and differentiators, and effectively incorporate them into proposal narratives.
Create and edit proposal layouts and graphics using Adobe InDesign; maintain templates and style standards.
Update and maintain Deltek (Vantagepoint/Vision) with key project information, pursuit data, resumes, and proposal metrics.
Manage proposal content libraries and support continuous improvement of proposal processes and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field.
5–7+ years of proposal experience in the AEC industry.
Proven ability to complete RFP/RFQ responses independently with minimal supervision.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign/Photoshop/Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office 365.
Strong editing, organization, and deadline-management skills.
Comfortable receiving and implementing direction and feedback while maintaining accountability for assigned deliverables.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable commuting to DC/Metro Center office approximately 4x a month, when requested by manager.
Compensation Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, travel requirements)
