Interior Designer

GD Resources LLC is hiring an Interior Designer Location Department of Veterans Affairs Long Beach VA Healthcare System (LBVAHCS) 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822

Purpose The Interior Designer supports the Planning Section and is responsible for independently executing interior design, space planning, and project activation tasks for healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement design solutions for healthcare spaces

Prepare AutoCAD drawings, FF&E plans, and presentations

Review plans for compliance with VA standards (TIL, ABAAS, NFPA, OSHA)

Develop procurement packages (SOW, IGCE, specs, budgets)

Coordinate installation, delivery, and activation

Maintain documentation and oversee punch list completion

Coordinate with stakeholders across departments

Qualifications

Healthcare design experience preferred

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

Strong communication and coordination skills

KEY PERSONNEL / SPECIALIZED STANDARDS (SP3) (Provide a copy of degree, resume, and/or qualification statement)

Bachelor’s Degree

OR

8–10 years of professional interior design experience
