Graphic Design and Digital Media Associate
The Graphic Design & Digital Media Associate is responsible for the design and production of visual marketing materials at Florida Studio Theatre.
This role focuses on creating high-quality, visually compelling assets across print and digital platforms. Working closely with the Director of Marketing, the Associate ensures all materials are on brand, polished, and aligned with the organization’s visual identity.
Job Responsibilities Graphic Design and Layout
Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials, including:
Posters, banners, flyers, and postcards
Playbills, brochures, annual reports, and donor materials
In-house signage and physical collateral
Design and produce print advertising, including magazine, newspaper, and playbill ads
Create digital assets for web and social platforms, including static and basic animated graphics
Support the development of season artwork and assist with layout refinements as needed
Prepare files to meet specifications for both print and digital placements
Execute creative based on direction from the Director of Marketing
Art Direction & Video Support
Support the visual direction of photo and video shoots in collaboration with the Director of Marketing
Assist in developing creative briefs, shot lists, and visual references for content
Support in capturing video content as needed (filming audience interviews, archival footage, promotional videos, and cast features)
Edit and refine photo and video assets to ensure visual consistency across platforms
Print Production & Coordination
Prepare files for print production, ensuring all specifications are accurate and optimized
Coordinate with internal departments—including Casting, Production, Literary, Artistic, Development, and Education—to gather necessary content and materials
Manage timelines and follow up on deliverables to ensure all materials are received on schedule
Coordinate with print vendors as needed to manage production and delivery
Review proofs and ensure final output meets quality and brand standard
Provide backup support for mailing and distribution operations when needed to maintain continuity
Job Qualifications
2–4+ years of professional graphic design experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating print and digital design work
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop required)
Experience with video editing (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
Basic videography skills and familiarity with camera equipment
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to take direction and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Full Time (Exempt), Permanent
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 per year plus benefits
