Job Summary
The Middle School Orchestra Director is responsible for leading and developing the middle school's orchestra program.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Provide musical opportunities for middle school students playing violin, viola, cello, and bass as part of the orchestra.
Facilitate all after school/weekend rehearsals and concerts, festival appearances, and Solo/Small Ensemble concerts.
Plan, organize, instruct, and supervise students, and prepare students for orchestra auditions and festivals.
Perform other duties as required by the administration.
Education and Experience
Education/experience as accepted by the school board and administration.
