LEASING SPECIALIST The Leasing Specialist plays a crucial role in shaping the first impression of the property. This role focuses on leading property tours for prospective residents, delivering exceptional customer service, and showcasing the lifestyle and value of the community. The ideal candidate thrives in a people-centered environment and excels at communicating features that align with prospects’ needs.

Greet prospective residents and conduct engaging property tours.

Highlight community features, amenities, and benefits tailored to the prospects.

Answer questions and address concerns during tours.

Coordinate schedules with the Leasing Experience Coordinators to manage tour appointments.

Provide timely responses to inquiries.

Maintain cleanliness of community tour paths, amenities, and units to ensure positive appearance.

Gather prospective resident information and proactively engage and follow‑up through phone call, text message, and email communication.

Assist in creating a welcoming and professional environment within the community.

Qualifications

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Previous experience in leasing, customer service, hospitality, or sales preferred.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.

Ability to physically access all community areas.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid driver’s license for property operations and local travel (if required).

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods of time.

Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment (computer, keyboard, phone, copier, printer).

Ability to talk and hear both in person and over the phone.

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting.

Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds (e.g., marketing materials, office supplies, packages).

Ability to walk stairs and tour indoor and outdoor areas, including model units and common areas.

Visual acuity sufficient for reviewing lease documents, computer screens, and property signage.

Work is primarily performed in a professional leasing office environment.

Regular interaction with prospective residents, current residents, vendors, and team members.

Position requires extended periods of computer use.

May involve outdoor work while conducting property tours in varying weather conditions.

Typical work schedule may include weekends, evenings, or holidays based on leasing activity and business needs.

Occasional exposure to noise, interruptions, and multiple concurrent tasks.

Requires compliance with company policies, fair housing laws, and confidentiality standards.
