SENIOR ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT DESIGNER – Los Angeles TCA Architects specializes in the planning and design of next‑generation, high‑density multi‑family housing, mixed‑use, and signature hospitality developments, helping to shape quality environments for all. Position Overview A Senior Project Designer is a design leader who uses advanced technical and computer skills to translate ideas into reality. The individual will quickly generate concepts for multi‑family, hospitality, and mixed‑use projects in a fast‑paced studio environment using SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Suite.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of architectural concepts from initial yield to SD.

Produce designs for multi‑family, hospitality, and mixed‑use typologies.

Communicate design intent verbally and in writing during presentations to firm leaders, teammates, and clients.

Maintain strong architectural design and planning skills, producing high‑quality drawings and documentation.

Present a professional portfolio of recent work during the interview.

Qualifications

Strong design and form‑giving skills.

6–10 years of architectural experience, including 3–5 years of U.S. multi‑family midrise design.

Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite, and Enscape.

Experience creating architectural designs and concepts from yield to SD.

Knowledge of California Building Code and construction types.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Must submit a resume and PDF portfolio ( Education

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture required.

California licensed architect preferred, or progressing toward licensure required.

Position Location The Senior Project Designer will be based in the Los Angeles office, working a hybrid schedule: Monday–Wednesday in‑office and Thursday–Friday from home.

Salary Range $90,000 – $120,000 per year.
